We have put in place a corporate engagement team who will be responsible for liaising with businesses in the private sector and securing sponsorship in the run up to and during 2013.
Headed up by Corporate Engagement Champion, Ryan Williams, a corporate engagement strategy has been devised to allow businesses to contribute towards the success of the City of Culture. The strategy focuses on developing a multi tiered process to ensure all businesses, local, regional, national and international have the opportunity to provide both financial and in kind assistance in a way which levers both commercial and community benefit.

Corporate Leadership Team
A team of high profile business leaders have been appointed to move forward the city’s plans to bring business and culture closer together to help deliver the legacy of City of Culture 2013.
The team of 12 business people will take up their positions as Corporate Ambassadors and help profile the opportunities for business partnerships with city through their extensive local and international networks.
The team led by Chairman Bro McFerran, (CEO All State) will have business leaders from various backgrounds, skills base and knowledge. It includes Austin Baird (owner of Ravenhill Estates); Terence Brannigan (CBI Chair); Orla Corr (Development Director, McEvoy Group Ltd); David Gavaghan, (Executive Director Quintain Estates and Development PLC); Philip Gilliland, (Londonderry Chamber of Commerce President 2013); Stephen Kelly (MD, Spirit Marketing); Jason Kennedy (Group CEO Grafton Employment Group); Jennifer McKeever (Managing Director, The Airporter); Christine Naylor, (Partner Rockfort Ventures LLP).Tim O’Connor, (Strategic Advisor) ) and Colm O'Neill (CEO, BT NI and ROI).
